Some systems may be inactive at this time which can cause substantial delay of up to 18 hours in creating your account. It is advisable to create your account Monday through Saturday from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., and Sunday from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Mountain Time.

When accessing your account for the first time, you'll be prompted to register for NMSU 2FA. Please note that email mailbox creation will take anywhere between 15 minutes to 24 hours. For more information, please visit the Help Desk Knowledge Base or please contact the Help Desk at (575) 646-1840 or email Help Desk.

Click here to log into Emergency Notification Messaging Service using your myNMSU username and passphrase.
  • Register your emergency notification information to inform you of campus emergency broadcast notifications.
  • Register your emergency contact person to contact in case of an emergency involving you.
Click here to log into myNMSU using your myNMSU username and passphrase.
  • Test drive your new NMSU email account by clicking on the Outlook Email icon.
    Please note that email mailbox creation will take anywhere between 15 minutes to 24 hours.
  • Test drive all other NMSU pages by clicking on tabs and links available.
Click here to see your account dashboard in microsoft.com using your new @nmsu.edu username and passphrase.
